Igorrr is the project of French multi-instrumentalist Gautier Serre, who splices baroque and classical music, breakcore and glitchy electronics, and extreme metal into a single frenetic style built on breakbeats, operatic singing, and death-metal riffing and growls. Serre launched it in 2005 as a solo studio undertaking, drawing on influences as disparate as Bach, Aphex Twin, and Cannibal Corpse, before expanding it into a full touring band in 2017. Its records have appeared on Ad Noiseam, Metal Blade, and Blood Music.
