Their discography (Oni Monogatari 2010, 天照大御神 2015, Reborn in Butterfly 2019, The Cathartic Anointing of Heterodoxy in Resilience 2022) draws on Japanese-folklore themes and contaminates black metal with jazz, dark ambient doom, and progressive improvisation. The band frames itself as a musicians' collective rather than a fixed lineup, embracing irrational, free-will structures over conventional songwriting.
