Zoroaster were an American sludge/doom-metal trio from Atlanta, active 2003-2013, running stoner-doom, sludge and Hawkwind-style space rock through a psychedelic blender. Their 2009 album Voice of Saturn is a high point, recorded at The Living Room in Atlanta. The record features fellow Atlantan Brent Hinds of Mastodon guesting with a guitar solo and snarling backing vocals on the track 'White Dwarf'.
