Bologna Violenta is the noise/electrogrind project of Treviso violinist and multi-instrumentalist Nicola Manzan, founded in 2005. Early releases built distorted guitar, strings and electronic drums around samples from 1970s Italian poliziottesco cinema; the project expanded into a duo in 2015 with drummer Alessandro Vagnoni and later shifted toward violin-led arrangements on Cortina (2017) and Bancarotta Morale (2020), with 2026's OBLOMOVISMO returning to its cybergrind roots. Manzan has also worked as a sideman for Baustelle and Il Teatro degli Orrori and collaborated with J. Randall of Agoraphobic Nosebleed.

Boredoms are an Osaka experimental group whose founding vocalist Yamantaka (Yamatsuka) Eye moved from harsh, dissonant noise-punk toward repetitive psychedelic rock, ambient soundscapes and cosmic tribal drumming across records like Super æ (1998) and Vision Creation Newsun (1999). Of Japan's noise underground they were the most gleefully chaotic, weaving sampler abuse, noise and humor into a maximalist ritual. Eye's connection to this atlas runs through John Zorn: he served as guest vocalist for Naked City, screaming across the miniatures of Torture Garden (1990).

Angelwings Marmalade is Angel Marcloid's noise/cybergrind outlet — the looser, harsher counterpart to her better-known blackened-new-age project Fire-Toolz. Where Fire-Toolz builds structured genre-collage songs, Angelwings Marmalade leans into harsh noise, musique concrete, noisecore and cybergrind textures, often stitched together from years of accumulated source material and guest vocal/sample contributions. It's one of several aliases (alongside MindSpring Memories, Nonlocal Forecast, Toad Computers) through which Marcloid works out a specific corner of her sound.

A UK extreme-metal collaboration led by Wildhearts frontman Ginger Wildheart with Scott Lee Andrews (Exit International) and drummer Denzel, functioning as a revolving-door supergroup anchored by Napalm Death's Shane Embury. The double debut The Frankenstein Effect / Error 500 (2013) folds in Merzbow noise and Mark E. Smith spoken-word, veering from melodic pop-metal hooks into industrial noise-grind chaos. Error 500 was released on Mike Patton's Ipecac Recordings.

Phantomsmasher is a glitch-grind / digital-hardcore project led by guitarist James Plotkin, previously known as Atomsmasher, that fuses grindcore with electronic noise and cut-up programming. The trio of Plotkin (guitar, bass, electronics), vocalist DJ Speedranch, and drummer Dave Witte released their self-titled album on Mike Patton's Ipecac Recordings on August 19, 2002. Plotkin is a prolific experimentalist also known for OLD, Khanate, Khlyst, Jodis, and Scorn.

Nine Inch Nails is Trent Reznor's industrial rock project, running from Pretty Hate Machine (1989) through The Downward Spiral, The Fragile, With Teeth, Hesitation Marks and Bad Witch. Atticus Ross joined as an official co-member in 2016 after years as Reznor's key collaborator and co-composer on their film scores. The catalog is built on layered, distorted programming and guitar — "industrial-strength noise over a pop framework" — distinct from the ambient instrumental Ghosts series the band also releases under its own name.

Mixhell is the São Paulo-born electronic project founded in 2006 by former Sepultura drummer Iggor Cavalera and his wife Laima Leyton, which grew from a husband-and-wife DJ duo into a live three-piece with bassist Max Blum. Their sound welds techno, acid, disco and industrial to Cavalera's ferocious live drumming, landing somewhere between dance music and rock. The debut album Spaces (2013), mixed by Brazilian techno producer Gui Boratto and released on Boysnoize Records and Last Gang, features a guest vocal from Greg Puciato of The Dillinger Escape Plan on the single 'Exit Wound'.

Sete Star Sept are a Tokyo noisecore/noisegrind duo formed in 2004 by drummer Kiyasu (ex-The Endless Blockade), now comprising Kae (bass, vocals) and Kiyasu (drums). Gerogerigegege-influenced and staggeringly prolific with well over 180 releases, they trade in short bursts of blasting chaos and pure noise. Relentless tourers, they have crisscrossed the global grind/noise underground via countless split records.

Sectlinefor is an NYC/London duo of Jared (vocals) and Piton (guitar, production, drum machine) making deliberately genre-shredding 'cinematic rock' that collides alternative/psychedelic metal, hardcore-ish punk energy, hip-hop-inflected interludes, and glitchy 80s/90s electronica. Formed in 2015 and solidified as a two-piece by 2018, they're compared to Faith No More, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Deftones, Devin Townsend, and early Ministry; their pandemic-era third album Kissing Strangers During an Outbreak (2021) leans hardest into disturbing, comedic, boundary-smashing songwriting.

KLoAK are a Danish speed metal/noise/experimental band from Billund, formed 1998, fronted by Anders Jørgen Mogensen — one of Escho's co-founders, alongside Düreforsög drummer Andreas Hauer-Jensen. The band became friends with and supported Düreforsög on tour, and Düreforsög's Nis Bysted and Boris Schiøler both guest on KLoAK recordings.
