Human Impact are a New York noise-rock supergroup formed in 2019, welding Chris Spencer's Unsane fury to Jim Coleman's Cop Shoot Cop-derived industrial electronics. The debut lineup added the Swans rhythm section of Chris Pravdica and Phil Puleo; their self-titled debut appeared on Mike Patton's Ipecac Recordings in 2020, followed by Gone Dark (2024). By 2024 the rhythm section had turned over to ex-Daughters drummer Jon Syverson and ex-Made Out of Babies bassist Eric Cooper.

Split Cranium is a trans-Atlantic crust/d-beat/hardcore punk project pairing American musician Aaron Turner (Isis, Sumac, Mamiffer) with Finnish musician Jussi Lehtisalo (Circle). Lehtisalo and Turner conceived the band during Circle's 2009 European tour with Isis, with Lehtisalo writing riffs and Turner adding vocals, guitar, and noise. Their self-titled debut arrived on Hydra Head Records on March 20, 2012, followed by the more experimental "I'm the Devil and I'm OK" on Ipecac Recordings on May 25, 2018. Turner has described the dynamic as "Jussi loves melody and I love dissonance and noise."

Qui are a Los Angeles noise-rock group formed in 2000 by Paul Christensen (drums/vocals) and Matt Cronk (guitar/vocals) as a guitar-and-drums duo mixing punk, noise and experimental rock with tight vocal harmonies. In 2006, after a run of guest appearances, David Yow of The Jesus Lizard and Scratch Acid joined as full-time vocalist, fronting the 2007 album Love's Miracle. That record was released on Mike Patton's Ipecac Recordings.

Wetnurse was a Manhattan, New York City experimental metal/hardcore band active in the 2000s, releasing a self-titled album (2004) and Invisible City (2008, Seventh Rule Recordings, produced and mixed by Martin Bisi at BC Studios). Their sound fused early-hardcore urgency, AmRep-style noise-rock abrasion, death-metal heft, and classic-rock melodicism, with the band citing touchstones like Sonic Youth, Helmet, Voivod, Botch, Unsane, and Mr. Bungle. Drummer Curran Reynolds also later joined Today Is the Day; vocalist Gene Fowler has since passed away.

Cave In is an American rock band formed in 1995 in Methuen, Massachusetts, whose 1998 debut Until Your Heart Stops established them in the metalcore scene before they shifted toward space rock with 2000's Jupiter. Founding vocalist/guitarist Stephen Brodsky leads the band alongside guitarist/vocalist Adam McGrath and drummer John-Robert Conners. Bassist Caleb Scofield died in a car accident on March 28, 2018, after which Nate Newton of Converge joined on bass and backing vocals. Much of their core catalog was released through Hydra Head Records.

Wear Your Wounds is the atmospheric solo-turned-band project of Converge founder and vocalist Jacob Bannon, grown out of years of lo-fi bedroom recordings. Far from Converge's hardcore violence, its 2017 debut WYW (Deathwish Inc., Bannon's own label) is measured and ethereal, evoking Swans, early Pink Floyd, Sparklehorse and Songs: Ohia. Bannon fronts an expanded lineup with guests including Converge's Kurt Ballou, Mike McKenzie, Chris Maggio and Sean Martin.

At the Drive-In are a post-hardcore band formed in El Paso, Texas in 1994, best known for Relationship of Command (2000) — a chaotic, tightly-wound record critics have called "the high against which every post-hardcore record since 2000 has been measured." The band split in 2001; frontman Cedric Bixler-Zavala and guitarist Omar Rodríguez-López went on to found The Mars Volta, and bassist Paul Hinojos later joined them there too. ATDI reunited in 2016 for the album in•ter a•li•a (2017).

KLoAK are a Danish speed metal/noise/experimental band from Billund, formed 1998, fronted by Anders Jørgen Mogensen — one of Escho's co-founders, alongside Düreforsög drummer Andreas Hauer-Jensen. The band became friends with and supported Düreforsög on tour, and Düreforsög's Nis Bysted and Boris Schiøler both guest on KLoAK recordings.

Fleshwater is an American shoegaze/alternative band formed in Boston in 2017 as a side project of metalcore group Vein.fm, pairing Vein members Anthony DiDio and Matt Wood with vocalist-guitarist Marisa Shirar. Trading Vein.fm's chaos for soft-grunge and nu-gaze accessible melody indebted to Hum and Sunny Day Real Estate, their debut LP We're Not Here to Be Loved (2022, Closed Casket Activities) was produced and mixed by Converge's Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studio.

Better Lovers is an American metalcore and chaotic hardcore band formed in 2023 in Buffalo, New York, uniting three former members of Every Time I Die (Jordan Buckley, Steve Micciche, Clayton Holyoak) with guitarist/producer Will Putney and vocalist Greg Puciato of The Dillinger Escape Plan. The group released the EP God Made Me an Animal (2023) and its debut full-length Highly Irresponsible in October 2024 through SharpTone Records. Puciato fronted the band from its formation until the two parties amicably parted ways in February 2026.
